When Jesus encountered a blind man who wanted his sight restored, he spit in the dirt, created mud, and put it on the blind man's eyes.
Jesus then commanded him to ‘go wash in the Pool of Siloam, ‘ and the man walked to his healing with the mud on his eyes. The instant he washed in the pool he miraculously gained sight.
In every step of his healing, Jesus created meaning where others may have only seen a mess.
